RDL/SFR/F1: KENYA GRAND CLASSIC
Day
1: MOMBASA
Arrival in Mombasa in the morning. Met and transferred
to Voyager Beach Resort Club. On arrival, breakfast will be
served. The rest of the day at leisure for own activities
such as swimming ,snorkeling, deep sea diving or just relaxing
on the beach.

2: MOMBASA

3: MOMBASA/NAIROBI/OUTSPAN/TREETOPS
From Mombasa depart immediately after a quick early morning
breakfast and transfer to Moi Airport Mombasa for an early
morning check in for a flight to Nairobi. Link up with your
guide and driver and drive northwards through the lush vegetation
and farmlands to the country town of Nyeri, and the Outspan
Hotel where lunch will be served. After lunch you may browse
for a while at Paxtu- the museum which is the former house
of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the World Scout Movement.
Thereafter you will be transferred to Treetops, on the slopes
of The Aberdares. From the Lodge set on stilts above the ground,
visitors to Treetops can observe the animals gathering at
the floodlit waterhole to drink and to lick salt well into
the night. Dinner and overnight at Treetops (BREAKFAST, LUNCH
& DINNER)
Day
4: SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP
Depart Treetops at 07.00 a.m. to arrive back to the Outspan
Hotel for breakfast. Thereafter drive on to the nearby town
of Nanyuki and then along a dusty road to Sweetwaters Tented
Camp at Ol Pejeta Ranch. There will be a game drive before
lunch to see the animals in this private sanctuary including
a visit to see Morani, the tame Rhino. Return to the Camp
for lunch. After lunch continue with a game drive, this time
taking a boat ride to visit the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Rehabilitation
program. Return to the Camp in the evening for tea and rest
before dinner and overnight. (BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER)
Day 5: LAKE NAKURU
Depart after breakfast, and drive back to Nanyuki and then
to Nyahururu, the small settler town still known by its old
settler name of Thompson's Falls. Here there will be a brief
photo stop. Thereafter take a scenic drive along the winding
roads carved high along the wall of the Rift valley overlooking
the beautiful valley of Subukia. At the end of this dramatic
drive is Nakuru. Enter Lake Nakuru National Park which is
best known as home to "one million" flamingoes,
as well as home to four of the Big Five- Lion, Leopard, Buffalo
and the endangered Black Rhino, as well as Waterbucks and
a variety of plainsgame. A game drive in the morning to see
the flamingoes, followed by lunch. Then another game drive
which will go late into the evening. Dinner and overnight
at Lion Hill Camp.

Day 6: NAKURU-NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA
Depart from Lake Nakuru immediately after breakfast for the
two-hour drive back to Nairobi where you arrive at Lunchtime.
After a short lunch break, you transfer to Wilson Airport,
Air Kenya Counter to board your afternoon flight to the world
famous Maasai Mara, departing at 3.00 p.m. to arrive in the
Mara at about 3.45p.m. At the Kichwa airstrip, you will be
met and transferred to Kichwa Tembo Luxury Tented Camp, which
will be your game viewing base for the next two days. You
arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, which will go
late into the early evening. Return to the Camp for dinner
and overnight at Kichwa Tembo Luxury Tented Camp. (BREAKFAST
& DINNER)
Day
7: MAASAI MARA
Book your wake up call the night before and start at dawn
for a best game viewing chance. Look out for the "Big
Five" for which this park is famous. Lion Buffalo, Elephant
and Rhino and occasionally the elusive Leopard, as well as
many herds of plains game abound in this park. After what
should be a rewarding morning, you return to the camp for
late breakfast. Thereafter relax by the pool for a swim or
some reading before lunch. Lunch is served at the Camp. Thereafter
depart for another game drive returning to the Camp late in
the evening for your well - deserved rest and dinner. Overnight
at Kichwa Tembo Luxury Tented Camp.

Day 8: MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI
Take a morning game drive, then lunch. Thereafter you are
transferred to the airstrip to board your afternoon flight
departing from the Mara at 4.00 p.m. to arrive at Wilson Airport
at 4.45 p.m. Met and transferred to the Fairview Hotel for
dinner and overnight.

Day
9: NAIROBI CITY TOUR AND NATIONAL MUSEUM
Breakfast is served at the hotel. At 10.00 am you will be
taken on an orientation tour of the city of Nairobi which
will culminate with a visit to the National Museum and Snake
Park. The visit ends back at your hotel at 1.00 p.m. The rest
of the afternoon is at leisure for own activities including
shopping for handicrafts at any of the many colorful outlets.
At 7.00p.m you are collected from the hotel and taken to the
Carnivore Restaurant for a special dinner. After dinner which
ends at about 9.30 p.m, you return to the Fairview Hotel for
overnight accommodation. (BREAKFAST & DINNER)
Day
10: NAIROBI/TSAVO
Depart after breakfast from Nairobi and drive to the satellite
town of Athi River and on to Mtito Andei .Thereafter take
your thirty minutes drive to Kilaguni Lodge where lunch will
be served. After lunch you are taken on a game drive to Mzima
Springs. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon and relax
with the magnificent view of Mt Kilimanjaro in the horizon.
Dinner, and overnight at Kilaguni Lodge. (BREAKFAST, LUNCH
& DINNER)
Day 11: TSAVO/MOMBASA
Depart after breakfast and drive through the park. Exit via
the Tsavo gate where you connect to the main Nairobi Mombasa
highway . Thereafter continue your drive to Mombasa on the
Kenyan Coast, arriving at Voyager Beach Resort Club for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon is at leisure in Mombasa..
