Reservations and Payment
Reservations
for your holiday may be made directly by submitting the booking
form available on our website or you may download your filled
form, have it signed and sent to us. When you know for certain
that this is a firm booking, you will need to pay a deposit
of USD 200 (or equivalent in a freely convertible currency)
to enable us to confirm your booking. Once we have received
the deposit, we will issue you with a confirmation invoice
which will also give details of the full balance due on the
tour after the payment of the deposit. This balance must be
received buy us not later that 45 days before your departure
for the holiday. If the balance due is not received by us
by the due date, as specified above, we reserve the right
to treat your holiday booking as cancelled by yourself, in
which case the cancellation charges detailed below will apply.
If
you book your holiday through another Travel Agent, any deposit
paid to them is held on your behalf until you receive a confirmation
invoice from us. After you receive our confirmation, the amount
paid to the Travel Agent is held on our behalf.
Alterations and Modifications
It
is possible to change from a reserved to an alternative tour
which is on offer, but the price difference will have to be
advised first and your firm commitment received to pay for
the difference in cost between the two alternative tours.
A change of tour is done only subject to availability of equivalent
hotel rooms and other facilities and this must be confirmed
by us and communicated to you before you arrive on holiday.
An amendment fee of USD 20 per person will apply to all tour
modifications
Cancellations
(Yours)
If
for any valid reason you wish to cancel a confirmed reservation,
please have this done in writing as soon as possible. On receipt
of your letter, we will effect the cancellation and the following
charges will automatically apply:
Prior to 45 days - Deposit is forfeited
44-35 days - 30% of total holiday cost
34-25days - 60 % of total holiday cost
24-15days - 75% of total holiday cost
14-7 days - 90% of total holiday cost
Less than 7days - 100% of total holiday cost
Cancellations (Ours)
We
reserve the right to cancel any tour if circumstances so require,
except that we shall not cancel, without due compensation,
any holiday within 45 days prior to departure and for which
full payment has been received, except when we are forced
to do so for reasons beyond our control. Such reasons include,
but are not limited to, war or threat of war, civil strife,
industrial action due to trade disputes, earthquakes, floods
and other natural disasters, bad weather, transport delays
or cancellations due to technical problems. In all such circumstances,
which are outside our control, we shall not pay any compensation
for cancelled tours.
Visas
& Health Requirements
It
is the responsibility of each individual travelling on holiday
and taking any of our tours to ensure that all their travel
documents (passports/visas/health cards) are valid for travel.
Please contact local embassies of the countries to which you
wish to travel for full immigration advise.
Insurance
Before
you commence your travel, we advise that you take out adequate
travel insurance for yourself and all family members travelling
together with you on holiday. Your insurance should be adequate
to cover your medical expenses both for in patient and out
patient treatment, hospital charges and Doctor's fees, flight
delays and cancellations, baggage irregularities and so on.
Liability
Raydoll
Tours and Travel Ltd act only as Agents of the clients in
all matters relating to hotel accommodation, air, road, and
railway transport. Your tour or safari may involve travelling
to remote or secluded tourist spots and may sometimes involve
certain risks such as those inherent in travel by air, road,
train or boat, or other risks that may lead to sudden illness
in remote areas without sophisticated medical facilities or
fast means of evacuation. In certain cases, delay, change
of itinerary, injury, loss or death may result from such risks.
We do not undertake responsibility for the provisions of medical
care nor do we accept liability for any injury, damage, loss,
accident, delays or any other irregularity except as is provided
for by the respective jurisdiction of the courts of the country
in which the tour is undertaken.
